Highscope uses research-validated tools for the evaluation process. These measure achievement, evaluate quality directions with the Highscope assessment. The early literacy skills assessment is a generic instrument designed to measure the emerging literacy skills of children enrolled in early childhood programs. The programs assessments are the Highscope's Preschool Program Quality Assessment, Youth Program Quality Assessment, and Ready School Assessment. These tools are to used to find the strengths and weakness of educational programs. With these tools, teachers can watch each child's developmental progress.
